Deep Soul continuously undergoing network security assessment of the mobile app

In September 2026, Deep Soul completed a network security assessment of the mobile app. The assessment covered the Deep Soul mobile app, owned and managed by Deep Soul Management Heritage Company Limited, and was carried out across three testing cycles, including follow-up retesting.
A third-party security consultant carried out the testing with the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS), categorized the findings, and measured severity. The work covered penetration testing, a security audit, a cloud configuration review, and a privacy impact assessment.
Standards and method
The assessment applied the following standards and methods:
- PIA control validation & personal data protection review
- Hong Kong Government IT Security Guidelines compliance check G3 & S17
- Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (CVSS scoring)
- OWASP Top 10 / ASVS compliance (Web, API, Mobile)
- Mobile app reverse engineering
The assessment set out to identify, analyze, and evaluate risks that could affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the application and its data.
